AMD has released a new beta version of its Adrenalin Edition drivers, bringing official support for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties* and Nioh 3, two of the most anticipated titles in the coming months. The update also introduces fixes for several performance and stability issues plaguing Radeon RX 9000 and RX 7000 series GPUs, though some lingering problems remain unresolved.

The most notable improvements target cloud rendering artifacts in Arc Raiders, which were causing corrupted visuals on RX 9000 cards, and intermittent crashes in The Finals when ray tracing was enabled on RX 7000 GPUs. These fixes should provide a smoother experience for players running demanding titles on AMD’s latest hardware.

Despite the progress, several known issues persist. Users of Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing enabled may still encounter crashes or driver timeouts when loading saved games, while Battlefield 6 continues to struggle on systems with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPUs. Additionally, task-switching while running Roblox Player (Car Zone Racing & Drifting) can trigger crashes on RX 7000 series GPUs, and texture flickering has been reported in Battlefield 6 when using AMD Record and Stream.

AMD FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation also face visibility problems in the driver interface when enabled for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7* on RX 9000 cards, though the features themselves may still function. The company has acknowledged these issues and is working with developers to resolve them in future updates.

For users installing the beta, AMD recommends downloading the package directly from the release page rather than relying on the AMD Install Manager, which has been reported to fail when installing optional drivers.

The update reflects AMD’s ongoing efforts to refine its software stack for both new and legacy hardware, ensuring compatibility with upcoming games while addressing lingering bugs in its current lineup. Gamers using Radeon RX 9000 or RX 7000 GPUs may see immediate benefits, though those running into persistent issues should monitor future releases for additional fixes.
