Available in two SKUs, the VL610 supports three video outputs while the VL610D handles two. Both maintain compatibility with single displays up to 8K60Hz or 4K240Hz, and support multiple streams for complex setups. The architecture includes one fixed HDMI 2.1 FRL transmitter and configurable ports that can switch between DP++ or HDMI 2.1 FRL/DMDS outputs.

  • Display Support: Up to three displays at 4K60Hz (VL610) or two displays (VL610D), with single-display support for 8K60Hz or 4K240Hz.
  • Audio/Video Streams: Six independent streams, with a single DP output supporting up to four MST streams.
  • Advanced Features: DSC 1.2a decoder for compression/decompression, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support, ECDSA-256 authentication for secure updates, and event-triggered logo/guidance displays.

The chips integrate color format support and audio capabilities to ensure high-quality multimedia experiences. Security is enhanced through asymmetric authentication, protecting against firmware attacks while enabling over-the-air updates. A unique feature allows brands to display logos or troubleshooting messages during idle or fault conditions, improving user communication without additional hardware.
