Gaming Crimson Desert: Why You Should Max Beggars’ Trust Immediately (Passive Resource Guide) Francesco De Meo • at EDT Add on Google Maxing beggars' trust in Crimson Desert comes with significant benefits Crimson Desert features a vast array of intricate mechanics that are rarely explained in detail. One of the most overlooked is the Trust system, which allows Kliff to establish lasting bonds with nearly every NPC in the game, including dogs and cats. While the reward for befriending animals is to turn them into pets that accompany the Greymanes' captain, the benefits of befriending human NPCs are more varied, depending if they are vendors or regular NPCs. However, there is one category of NPCs you should prioritize maxing out as quickly as possible: beggars. Not only is it incredibly simple to do, but it transforms them into a consistent source of upgrade materials. Related Story You Can’t Resist This Newegg’s Bundle Deal! Providing them with an alm (one copper coin) increases your Trust level by 50 points. Upon receiving the coin, the beggar will promise Kliff that they will “return the favor someday.” As the Trust threshold for these NPCs is low, handing out just two copper coins over two separate in-game days is enough to max out your relationship and unlock their secret utility. Getting Your Free Upgrade Materials The upgrade materials beggars gift Kliff may not be rare, but they do make a difference Once you have maxed your Trust with a beggar (or with any other non-vendor NPC), they will offer Kliff free items when he visits them, including: Ores (Iron, Copper) Small Bones Feathers Timber Cloth Pieces While these are not rare materials, they are used for the first several refinement levels of your gear. If you enjoy experimenting with different gear sets or upgrading multiple weapons, the Return on Investment for a meager 2 copper coins is massive, essentially making these materials free. NOTE: The beggars function with 48-hour in-game timer, and will only hand out resources when their position on the mini-map is indicated with a small blue hand icon. This concludes our guide.
