Elgato has deepened its collaboration with Voicemod, embedding the latter’s voice-changing technology directly into Wave Link as native VST effects and integrating complete soundboards into Stream Deck profiles. The update eliminates the need for external software in both workflows, giving users tighter control over audio processing without sacrificing performance.

Previously, applying Voicemod effects required routing microphone input through multiple applications—first to Voicemod, then to Wave Link, and finally into platforms like Discord or OBS. The new integration runs the voice-changing logic inside Wave Link itself, reducing latency and removing the need for virtual audio devices. This change is particularly beneficial on modern Elgato hardware that features ultra-low-latency FX processors.

Elgato and Voicemod Merge Audio Tools for Seamless Creator Control

On the Stream Deck side, creators can now install pre-configured Voicemod soundboards directly from Marketplace as ready-to-use profiles. These boards—ranging from gaming memes to fantasy themes—can be routed independently to stream, voice chat, or headphones, with per-channel volume control. The feature is free to use on any microphone or interface, expanding access beyond Elgato’s own hardware.

Both tools are available immediately on Windows and macOS. A 30 percent discount on premium Voicemod voice changers will be offered for a limited period as part of the launch promotion.

The partnership builds on a long-standing relationship between Elgato and Voicemod, with both teams emphasizing the importance of user-centric audio solutions that integrate smoothly into existing setups. For content creators, this shift promises to streamline production while maintaining creative flexibility.
