Cyberstan’s newly arrived cyborgs are the latest challenge in Helldivers 2, but they’re not invincible. While the region’s Vox Engines demand a different strategy, these augmented enemies have a critical flaw: a flashing red generator on their chest that, when targeted, can turn the tide of battle. However, not all cyborgs expose this weak spot immediately. Some require preemptive armor removal before their flesh becomes vulnerable.
Two cyborg units now roam Cyberstan: the Radical and the Agitator. The Radical, with its lightweight armor, presents an easier target—direct fire at the red generator is often enough to disable it. The Agitator, however, is far more resilient. Its reinforced plating must be stripped away before its weak point can be exploited, making precision and the right weapon loadout essential.
The Cyborg Weakness: A Flashing Red Generator
The red generator on a cyborg’s chest is the primary weak spot, but accessing it depends on the enemy. For Radicals, this is straightforward: aim and fire. Agitators demand more effort. Medium-penetration weapons or explosives are the most effective at peeling back their armor, revealing the underlying flesh that can then be targeted for a quick takedown.
Weapons like the PLAS-101 Purifier—already a top-tier choice against Automatons—excel here. Its high damage output makes short work of cyborgs when fired at the chest. The PLAS-15 Loyalist, its secondary variant, offers the same effectiveness with added utility. For those preferring close-quarters combat, the Breaching Hammer can deliver devastating blows, though Radicals’ shotgun blasts and robotic kicks make this approach risky without heavy armor or a shield generator.
Another standout option is the LAS-7 Dagger, an infinite-ammo secondary with medium penetration. While it can one-shot standard Automatons and headshot Devastators, its real strength lies in its ability to target cyborg weak points with accuracy. A well-placed shot to the chest can disable a cyborg before it closes the distance.
Cyberstan’s cyborgs may be formidable, but their design leaves them vulnerable to the right tactics. Whether stripping armor with explosives or landing precise shots on exposed generators, the key is preparation. Bring the right loadout, and these augmented enemies become little more than practice targets.
